It’s not too hard to figure out what inspired this craft. Bette Midler’ song, The Rose, has always been one of my favorite songs. It was also a huge hit in 1980. I remember a girl in my high school chorus class singing it one year at our concert, and she totally nailed it.
I’m normally not a huge fan of Bette Midler, but I really do like this song. I have yet to see the movie though. I might have to use one of my free Blockbuster rentals for this one.
