While I haven’t been spending these last few years crafting as much as I’ve wanted, I did get a few projects done. These are some of my projects I’ve completed since I last blogged.
Alberta the alligator scarf – This might be my favorite thing I’ve ever crocheted. I made this for my best friend for Christmas a few years ago. We both went to the University of Florida, so I thought it was fitting. It is sooo cute! I made her into a girl by adding an orange and blue bow, which can also be used as the clip to keep the scarf together. It was a little time consuming with all of the bobble stitches, but really turned out great!
Felt giraffe – This sweet little plush animal was originally made for my Etsy shop, but my cousin’s daughter loved it so much I gave it to her. I think it is time to make another one for my shop.
Little piggy bib – I love this little guy too. I made him for a little girl’s baby shower. The ties for the bib are hiding under the sweet sleepy face.
Skull potholder – I made one of these when I first learned to crochet. I thought it was time to make another one for my kitchen. It turned out great. I actually added felt to the back, which makes it a little sturdier. This pattern is from one of my favorite craft books, The Happy Hooker.
Infinity scarf – I made this scarf to use up some left over yarn. The yarn I used is Hometown USA that I got on sale. It is super soft!
Cherry potholder – I am a little obsessed with potholders. I also made a kiwi potholder, but I thought two on my list was enough. 🙂 This one I made as a craft along. I really love the colors. It looks super cute in my kitchen.
So there are just a few of the projects that I’ve been working on these last few years. I’m ready to get working on some new ones in 2016, so check back next week for my first tutorial of 2016. It is going to be pretty “awesome”!!! And on Monday I’ll be posting about a CAL that I’ll be working on next month. It is going to be a great destashing project.
