Pattern Review | Gingermelon Felt Cloud Pillows

Pattern Review | Gingermelon Felt Cloud Pillows

I’ve been crafting felt toys now for over ten years. I especially love crafting children’s toys, felt food, and small, quick, and cute projects. Felt toys are some of my favorite items to craft because many are simple or beginner patterns and are so fun, like these little cloud pillows from Gingermelon.

This is a sweet, easy project that is perfect for a beginner hand stitcher or for anyone who has never sewn with felt. You can make it as easy or advanced as you want. A more advanced option is to embroider the eyes, eyebrows, and cheeks, or even paint them on with acrylic paints. Or you can make it super simple and add some felt eyes and cheeks and leave everything else out.

Another plus is this is an inexpensive project. You just need to pick up a few sheets of acrylic felt, polyfill stuffing, a needle, and some embroidery thread.

With this pattern, you not only get the larger cloud patterns, but you also receive a pattern for smaller keychain-sized clouds. The larger clouds would make a great gift for a child’s birthday or a Christmas present. And the smaller clouds would be so cute as part of a weather-related baby mobile.

I hope you give this super cute pattern a try. And be sure to check out the rest of Gingermelon’s super cute felt doll and animal patterns in her Etsy shop.

I have no direct affiliation with any product or item listed here and did not receive any item(s) for free. If I ever do, I’ll mention it within the post.
