I have been working very hard to finish up my final Christmas present. Yes, I know it is really late, but it is finally finished.
A crocheted wrap for my grandmother.
She is always cold and wanted something light that she could throw over her shoulders. I used a light weight yarn, a larger crochet hook, and double crochet to make the wrap easy for her to wrap around her.
I also attached a large button in case she wanted to wear it closed.
Whew! Only two months late. I guess that isn’t too bad. 🙂
. . . . . . . . . . .
I had actually started this project before the new year, but last night I had to dig into my stash for more yarn and the button. So, for this destash-along project I used 25% of my craft stash.
I’ll also be posting my iPod cozy destash-along project next week. I am still putting the finishing touches on it, because I’ve been too busy playing with the new toy!
That's lovely I'm sure she'll love it! And don't feel bad, I've given presents at least two months late. When you hand-make so many things even starting way early doesn't help.
That is so pretty! I am sure your Grandmother will love it!
Hooray for more de-stashing!

It's turned out beautifully! I'm sure she'll treasure it!!! Any progress on your cardigan?
