First, both of my little girls have been sick. I think it was from eating each other’s food. It could be stress too. They are both pretty stressed out kitties. But the good news is they are getting along amazingly well together. Only one little hiss from Daphne and a few swats at each other and that was it! I am pleasantly surprised. And Daphne got to spend her first night up last night. I thought she would roam around the house looking at everything, but instead she slept on the bed with me all night. 

Second, I had to take off work yesterday to go and get my driver’s license renewed. Whew! What a pain. They had changed the location of the DMV, so I got lost and then I had to wait in line with about 35 people. At least I passed my test so I can continue to drive, at least for 8 more years!

Then last night I did nothing but watch the news on the death of Michael Jackson. As strange of a man as he had become, I really felt sorry for him. He had once been THE most notable star, but over the last decade had become nothing but a punch line for jokes. It is very sad. 

It is a shame that many people, young people in particular, will only remember him as a weirdo. I’ll always remember him like he was in his heyday. I really loved him in the ’80s!
