I hope everyone in the US had a great Thanksgiving. I sure did, and my turkey turned out perfectly so I didn’t have to call the Butterball hotline. Yay me! 🙂
I also didn’t get up at the crack of dawn like I usually do to go shopping, but I did venture to Best Buy, Target, and Petsmart around noon. None of the stores were as crazy as I had thought they would be. Everything was actually very calm until I realized “The Other Boleyn Girl” was on sale at Best Buy for $3.99. Of course there were no more in the $3.99 bin, so my sister and I were on a mission to find one. We went around the store (several times) looking for any DVDs that were out of place. Unfortunately, we didn’t find one. But, I did receive a very cryptic email from my sister this morning telling me to stop looking for it. Could that mean I am getting it for Christmas? 🙂
Whew! Now I have to kick it into high gear. I can already feel these next few weeks are going to be crazy busy. I have so many things left to do before Christmas that I am starting to feel a little panicked and overwhelmed. So, to lighten my mood (and keep my sanity), I decided to post my to-do list as my very own rendition of the 12 Days of Christmas.

There are a few other to-do items that didn’t make this list, so I’ll be one very busy girl until the new year.
Here is where I wanted to include my favorite 12 Days of Christmas song (The 12 Things at Christmas that are Such a Pain to Me) but I couldn’t find it. So, I decided to include my favorite Christmas song, at least from the ’80s.
My favorite part was always when Simon Le Bon sang. I think it still is. I like Boy George’s orangey/red hair too. 🙂
