Megan from Crochet Every Day is hosting a super fun CAL on her blog. The CAL pattern is PlanetJune’s pumpkin pattern. The pattern is free and is really simple.
I crocheted my little guy this past weekend while watching the new Star Trek movie. I am not a Star Trek fan, but boy was it a great movie. If you are looking for a great action/sci fi movie, this is a good one. I was also very happy to read they are in the process of making a follow up movie. Yay!
So, here is my little pumpkin. It looks very similar to my real pumpkin that I’ve been using as a decoration on my mantle.
Which pumpkin is the crocheted one?
I am really pleased with the way it turned out, but that shouldn’t surprise me since PlanetJune‘s patterns are awesome! If you are interested in learning to make Amigurumi, June’s got a new book all about it, The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Amigurumi.
My little pumpkin was crocheted with 100% of my stash, so another great destash along project. Plus, it is a great fall decoration, so I can leave it out a little while longer. 🙂
Looks perfect on my mantle!
Be sure to check out the other CAL pumpkins in Megan’s pumpkin patch.
I was going through my reader and this popped up! Yay! Then I clicked over to my blog and saw you had already put it in the linky! Thanks so much! I love how yours turned out! Mine is finished too, now I just have to get a good pic and post it!
