It seems like I’ve been working on this baby mobile for an eternity, though I think it has really only been a little over a month. 🙂 But, during a weekend long marathon of SOAP thanks to my awesome Wii & Netflix, I finally finished my crocheted baby mobile.
If you remember a few weeks ago all I had done were my raindrops.
Well, now the rainbow is complete.
And the sun and clouds.
Here is everything put together.
I started out using thick thread to connect the pieces, as the pattern stated, but it broke as soon as I hung it on the wall. So, I ended up using white yarn. It seems to be holding up pretty well, so far!
This was also a great destash along project. I used 100% of my yarn and felt from my stash! The only items I had to order were the safety eyes.
It is now on its way to its intended recipient, baby Olivia. I hope she likes it!
