Well, we’ve made it to the end of the How to Blog without Breaking the Bank series and Part 4 is a subject everyone is always asking about: royalty free stock photos.
Royalty Free Stock Photos
There are plenty of places to find royalty free stock photos: Bigstock, Adobe Stock, Shutterstock, Fotolia, and iStock, but all of these sites require you to pay for the photos and sign up for a monthly plan. That can get pretty pricey. But thankfully there are FREE sites where you don’t pay for anything and get to use their stock photos.
12 Websites for Awesome Free Stock Photos
The following are some of my favorite stock photo sites, in no particular order.
1. Unsplash
2. Pixabay
3. PicJumbo
5. Kaboompics
6. StockSnap
7. Pexels
9. Life of Pix
10. Picography
11. Re:splashed
12. Magdeleine

Always be sure to check the license on each photo. Most are usually listed as creative commons, which means you can modify, copy, and distribute the photo without asking for permission. You can not sell the photo, though. Some sites require that you add a credit to use the photo. It is best to always check the permissions on any photo you want to use.
There you have it! I hope you have enjoyed this mini blogging series and hopefully learned something new about how to blog without breaking the bank.
