One of my favorite movies from the ’80s is Mr. Mom. I just love Michael Keaton!

There are so many hilarious scenes in this movie, but the one that stands out to me is the scene when the vacuum cleaner attacks the kids and eats the one kid’s blanket, or his woobie.
I am sure you have seen this pattern before, but here it is again. You can use this super simple, no sew pattern to make your very own woobie for your child or, like I did, your pet!

Materials
1-1/2 yards of fleece material in both fabrics (one solid and one pattern)
scissors or rotary cutter
ruler
Instructions
  1. Trim edges of fabric to remove fabric fray.
  2. Place the two pieces of fleece (solid and pattern) on top of each other and cut a 5″ square from each of the four corners of the fleece.
  3. Using your ruler and scissors or rotary cutter cut fringe that is 1″ wide and 5″ inches deep on all sides of the blanket.
  4. Tie the front and back fringe together using an overhand knot, making sure the knots are not too tight.
  5. You now have your very own woobie!
