I didn’t collect many things in the ’80s, but I did make an exception for stickers. My sticker book was gold! I used a large photo album with cellophane pages that kept the stickers covered and protected. The smarter kids kept the paper backs on the back of their stickers, but I wasn’t that smart. 🙂 I stuck them on the pages, so removing them to trade with friends was a little tricky.

I had every kind of sticker you could think of. I waited impatiently to go to the store after school and look through the thousands of stickers to pick out the perfect one, or two.

There were all kinds of stickers back in the ’80s. Some of my favorites were:

Scratch ‘n Sniff

Puffy

Mrs. Grossman

Satin

Oilie

I had so many of these! The good news is you can still find a lot of these stickers online. If you want to start a new sticker album or add to yours from the ’80s check Ebay and Etsy, especially Vintage Sticker Love on Etsy, or Google “’80s stickers”.

Great stickers! I loved those in childhood. Everyone had stickers- everyone. The scented were my favorites.
