One thing my family loves to do is play board games. As soon as I get home for Christmas, my mom gets out the Scrabble board.
I think the ’80s had some of the greatest board games ever made. We have a huge box of games in storage and I can’t wait to take a peek at the jems that are hidden in there.
Here are my top 5 favorite ’80s board games:
The Goonies
Hotels
Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous
Scattergories
My sister and I played Mystery Mansion constantly. We had such a a good time building the mansion and getting the treasure chests. Ooh, I know we still have this game. Get ready Mel, we’ll be playing it again soon!
I’m so excited that you listed the Hotels boardgame! My sister and I used to play that game for hours and hours. Thanks for reminding me of those fun memories! Also, I used to have the vinyl single for Cindy Lauper’s ‘Good Enough’ from the Goonies. Remember that one?! 😀
