I have been slowly redecorating my house in a farmhouse look. One thing I’ve discovered is farmhouse decor is not cheap, especially anything galvanized.
What makes a galvanizes item so special? Well, according to Wikipedia, the process of galvanizing an item is, “applying a protective zinc coating to steel or iron, to prevent rusting. The most common method is hot-dip galvanizing, in which parts are submerged in a bath of molten zinc.”
There are a lot of great places to find galvanized metal decor. Some of my favorite places to shop are Target, Pier1 Imports, Hobby Lobby, Amazon
, and Kirklands, but some of their pieces can still be pretty pricey.
I really want to be able to get the look that I want without paying ridiculous prices, so I put together a list of galvanized metal decor pieces all under $50! Some are even under $20!
I love the 2-tier stand from Pier1 and the rooster from Kirklands. Kirklands sells a pig and cow too!
