Galvanized Metal Decor: Under $50 – Crafting with Cat Hair

I have been slowly redecorating my house in a farmhouse look. One thing I’ve discovered is farmhouse decor is not cheap, especially anything galvanized.

What makes a galvanizes item so special? Well, according to Wikipedia, the process of galvanizing an item is, “applying a protective zinc coating to steel or iron, to prevent rusting. The most common method is hot-dip galvanizing, in which parts are submerged in a bath of molten zinc.”

There are a lot of great places to find galvanized metal decor. Some of my favorite places to shop are Target, Pier1 Imports, Hobby Lobby, Amazon, and Kirklands, but some of their pieces can still be pretty pricey.

I really want to be able to get the look that I want without paying ridiculous prices, so I put together a list of galvanized metal decor pieces all under $50! Some are even under $20!
