Over the years, I have used some great and some not so great crochet supplies. I thought it might be useful to include a list of some of my favorites. You will be able to find the complete list under my About page in the Resources link.

My Favorite Crochet Supplies

Vanna’s Choice Yarn
This is my favorite acrylic yarn, which I use most often as I don’t like to use animal fibers. Vanna’s Choice is some of the softest acrylic yarn out there and it rarely splits, plus it is reasonably priced.

Clover Amour Crochet Hooks
I am still building my hook collection of these babies, they are a little pricey, but they are definitely worth it. They have a rubber grip that really helps take the pressure off of your hands while you are crocheting.

Stitch Markers
I make my own, because they are so simple and cheap to make. And, if you wait a few weeks I’ll be posting a little How To tutorial on making your very own set. But if you can’t wait, these ones from Clover will do the trick.

Yarn Needles
I go back and forth between the plastic and the metal needles. I like them both and use them both, so I can’t really decide which is better.

Clover 336 Knitting Counter Kacha-Kacha
This one is the only one I have used, but I love it so much I’ve never needed to try another one. It is perfect for when you are crocheting a large blanket or something where you might need to put your project down for awhile.

Chicken Boots USA Yarn Bag
My house is full of makeshift yarn bags, which tells you just how many Works in Progress (WIP)s I have going at one time! But my absolute favorite legit craft bag is from Chicken Boots USA. I use their double double bag, which holds quite a bit of supplies. Unfortunately, Chicken Boots USA closed in 2019, but they do offer a few of their patterns for you to make yourself.

Wood & Button Crochet Hook Roll
I normally use pencil cases to store my crochet hooks, but when I came across one of these adorable and very functional crochet hook rolls at a local vintage craft fair I just had to get one. I am so glad I did. I currently have all of my Clover Amour hooks in it but need a second one for my plastic crochet hooks.
